Background
As a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults), I grew up immersed in Deaf culture. My combined life experience and professional training have given me a unique set of skills to interpret accurately, professionally and in a culturally sensitive manner.
Working as an educational interpreter, I began my interpreting service in 2000. Initially as a side job, I worked during evening hours for extra income. Eventually, the demand for interpreting in Cape May County grew, and I was able to begin freelance work full time in 2005.
Hands for Hire Interpreting serves Cape May and Atlantic counties for most sign language interpreting needs. (American Sign Language and Signed English)
